EWB: International Volunteering Opportunities 2017

EWB have longer-term 6 to 12 month Placement programmes with opportunities to work on clean energy projects. These have a deadline of mid-January for those interested in applying. This is what they say about the scheme.

Engineering capacity is not evenly distributed around the world. At Engineers Without Borders UK we provide technical support and skills to projects that enable organisations, people and communities to overcome global challenges such as lack of access to power, clean water and safe shelter. We do this by recruiting and supporting qualified volunteer engineers to work for 6 or 12 months with our partner organisations. We offer volunteers the opportunity to work on impactful development projects that are changing lives. Our volunteers contribute their technical expertise and also benefit from an incredible experience overseas.

For those looking to develop their project management and mentoring skills as well as contributing to a development project we also have our Global Engineer Fellowships which are featured below and on our full Fellowships page.

Questions? We are a small team so please do not contact the office directly, you should find the answers on our FAQs page.

Application DEADLINE : Sunday 15 January 2017 – 12pm Noon (GMT)
