Global Grand Challenges Summit 2017, Washington DC, 18-20 July

Students and professionals are invited to apply to register for the Global Grand Challenges Summit 2017, to be held in Washington DC from 18-20 July.

The Summit is organised by three national academies of engineering: UK, USA and China. Engineering leaders, international policy makers, and rising star students will gather to seek solutions to humanity’s great challenges, inspiring the next generation to forge a better future for the world through interdisciplinary collaboration and public engagement, and creating a talent pipeline that is equipped for achieving the UN SDGs.

Along with some fantastic speakers, the next generation of engineering talent from the UK, US and China will be pitching their innovation ideas at the student business competition, and attendees will be able to meet with these future graduates along with speakers, sponsors, and international industry leaders during interactive workshops and a number of networking receptions. A link to the summit programme is given below:
