Full-time, fixed-term appointment until 31 May 2018

A Research Associate is required to work with us on an exciting new DFID-funded research project, Partnerships for Skills Development: LCEDN Support for DFID’s Transforming Energy Access (TEA) Initiative, led by Loughborough University’s Geography Department in the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences.

The researcher will contribute to the delivery of the programme of activities designed to fast-track TEA activity as outlined in the job description. Applicants should have significant experience in critically evaluating, analysing and synthesizing research literatures and be experienced in qualitative and quantitative research techniques. The post will be based in the UK at Loughborough University and will involve negotiating and managing relationships with project partners and associated research contacts, identifying and assessing future research opportunities, drafting of research bids, background research, academic and other writing as well as communications and promotional activities. The post holder will also contribute to the development of the LCEDN Network.
