Opportunity: Brazilian/UK Collaboration in Transport/Energy Harvesting

The British Council will fund relevant Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to visit Brasil in May 2016 for a workshop in the areas of low-volume roads and energy harvesting from roads.

Please find more details and an application form at http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/~evzard/RL-Workshop/ .

This is relevant to postdocs and young members of staff (must have been awarded PhD in the last 10 years).

This will be relevant to those involved in rural transport systems, economists, road infrastructure, energy harvesting, Urban Heat Island effects, distributed electrical engineering, climatology …

The aim is to cement research relationships for future benefit to UK and Brasil, so the exact discipline of the ECR isn’t too critical, more the willingness to work alongside others with a view to developing inter-disciplinary ideas.
