Membership of the LCEDN provides unique access to the UK’s vibrant and rapidly growing energy for development community. Membership is divided in two with one simple way to sign up.

Finally, if you are based in the UK please indicate if you are NOT willing to have the information provided included in our database of expertise. The database functions as a searchable directory and entry point to the United Kingdom’s energy for development community. It provides an easy way for individuals from the UK and overseas to find members with interests that compliment their own in order to foster international and interdisciplinary collaboration and partnership.

Membership Types

UK Membership

Eligibility: To become a UK Member of the LCEDN you must be a UK-based individual that is researching or working in the energy for development field.

Entitlements: UK Membership provides the opportunity to be included in the LCEDN database of expertise, contribute to rapid evidence reviews for UK government departments, post comments on the LCEDN forums, attend LCEDN events and receive specialised LCEDN emails detailing opportunities for partnership and funding.

International Membership

Eligibility: To become an International Member of the LCEDN you must be an individual that is researching or working in the energy for development field.

Entitlements: International Membership provides the opportunity to post comments on the LCEDN forums, view rapid evidence reviews, attend LCEDN events and receive specialised LCEDN emails detailing opportunities for partnership and funding.
