Third call for applications: Efficiency for Access Research and Development Fund

The Efficiency for Access Coalition is pleased to announce the third round of the Efficiency for Access Research and Development (R&D) Fund, with up to £2 million in funding made available. This funding is supported by a range of donors, including UK aid and the IKEA Foundation.

Up to £300,000 is available for each R&D project. The focus is on projects developing enabling technologies or products with a particular focus on interoperability and inclusivity.

The Efficiency for Access Research and Development Fund was launched in November 2018 with the aim to accelerate innovation in weak- and off-grid appliance technologies,  supporting 21 organisations with over £2.5 million in funding.
