Surabhi Rajagopal

Visiting Researcher

Surabhi Rajagopal joined the LCEDN team as a Visiting Researcher for the Transforming Energy Access (TEA) initiative in November 2017. She works with the team on aspects of the research and innovation landscape in the UK and the EU on energy and development, on strengthening enterprise-academia collaboration and on enhancing the capacity of researchers working on issues of energy and development. Alongside LCEDN, Surabhi will be working with CAFOD and partners on the Alliance of Civil Society Organizations working on Clean Energy Access (ACCESS).

 

She is currently on a sabbatical from SELCO Foundation, an organization which works on sustainable energy solutions for under-served communities. At the SELCO Foundation, she facilitated projects on ecosystem building for decentralized clean energy access, by focusing on barriers in finance, skill development, entrepreneurship and policy from a practitioner perspective. In her most recent role, she was responsible for supporting the Clean Energy Access Network (CLEAN) on the network's strategy and interventions to strengthen the sector in India.  Surabhi has a Masters in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics (LSE), UK.
