Date:

Host:
Kukolola Agribusiness Innovation Hub

Invitation to stakeholder meeting in Malawi for the newly launched:

Kukolola Agribusiness Innovation Hub (KAIH)

The Mentorship and Philanthropic Centre, Seeds of Opportunity and Northern Alliance Financing Corporation Ltd (the Implementers) are pleased to announce the launch of the Kukolola Agribusiness Innovation Hub (KAIH). Africa is a food insecure continent that has a food import bill of over US$35 billion annually, and this figure is anticipated to increase to US$110 billion annually by 2025. Malawian agribusiness and entrepreneurs have significant potential to exploit this growth in local and regional demand for food and agro-products but fail to do so because of various financial and capacity deficits. To address these shortfalls, the Implementers are establishing the KAIH as a platform to improve the productivity and global competitiveness of Malawi’s agribusiness and entrepreneurship sectors.

Please refer to attached document for further details.

Stakeholder meeting will take place at:

23rd March 2018 (14:00-16:30)  Lilongwe: Jubilee University
Kirk Road (Opposite Shoprite Carpark)  (Pacific Shoppers Mall Compound)
