Are you a UK-based PhD Student doing research on renewable energy in an African context and/or research which has relevance to the Agenda 2063 of the African Union of:
“harnessing all African energy resources to ensure modern, efficient, reliable, cost effective, renewable and environmentally friendly energy to all African households, businesses, industries and institutions, through building the national and regional energy pools and grids”?
If so the LCEDN is really happy to announce our
Low Carbon Energy for Development PAUWES Research-2-Practice Poster Competition
3 winners will be selected to present their posters at the PAUWES Research-2-Practice Forum 2018, which will be held in Tlemcen, Algeria on April 16th-18th, with all costs covered by the LCEDN.
The Forum aims to create links between research and practice stakeholders in the area of renewable energy and development in Africa, and will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase your research to a multi-sector audience of both researchers, practitioners and policy makers.
To enter the competition, please send a 200 word abstract to lcedn@lboro.ac.uk and britta.turner@durham.ac.uk by the extended deadline of Tuesday 13th March (17:00 GMT).
